Joe Chidgey is native of San Antonio, Texas. Joe hired on with the Southern
Pacific Railroad, after graduating from high school in 1972, as a trainman. Joe
followed his father's footsteps and later entered engine service. He was
promoted to the position of locomotive engineer in 1979. Joe worked as a
locomotive engineer until he was injured in 2001. Joe's neck and back were
injured due to years of exposure to locomotive vibration. His FELA case was the
first to be successfully tried for locomotive vibration in the Southwest. Joe
currently works as an investigator for Tavormina & Young. Joe is an excellent
photographer and is great with computers. Joe is detail orientated and does a
great job of sniffing out the facts of the injury. |
