UTU honors Steve Young as Designated Legal Counsel


Steve Young is honored to be “Designated Legal Counsel” for the United Transportation Union.  The “designation” means Steve has willingly agreed:

• To assist all members of the Union who have questions regarding their rights as rail workers;
• To represent those of the Union who have viable claims pursuant to the Federal Employer’s Liability Act; 
• To support the Union in it endeavors.

Steve is very proud to continue to be a part of the UTU.  Steve first became a member of the United Transportation Union in 1975.  Over the years he has served the Union in many capacities, such as a Delegate, Local Chairman, General Chairman and Alternate Vice President.  Today, he continues to serve the Union as Designated Legal Counsel.
