On February 13, 2007 the BLET Advisory Board appointed Steve Young as BLET Designated Legal Counsel and added his name to the list of BLET Designated legal counsel.  Steve is honored by the designation and looks forward to being of assistance to the officers and members of the BLET.  Steve worked his way up through the railroad ranks, working as a laborer, clerk, train order operator, train dispatcher, chief dispatcher, brakeman, fireman and locomotive engineer.  Steve began his legal career in 1993 after attending South Texas College as a Langdell Scholar.  Steve's practice is limited to representing railroad workers.

If you are interesting in learning more about your rights contact the office and get a free copy of the RAIL RIGHTS book written by Steve.  The book contains an in depth look at many of the Federal laws that affect rail workers.
